PAD Challenge Day 27: Massive

From Writer's Digest PAD Challenge:

After today’s poem, we’ll be only three days from the finish line for this year’s challenge. Let’s poem on!

For today’s prompt, write a massive poem. The poem itself could be massive in size and length. Or it could take on a massive problem, describe a supermassive black hole, or praise a massive bowl of ice cream covered in chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Whatever you write, I hope it’s a massive success.

Remember: These prompts are just springboards; you have the freedom to jump in any direction you want. In other words, it’s more important to write a new poem than to stick to the prompt.

  1. my psyche is both
    big and small
it's all a state of mind
    there are days
    that I feel massive
    and I cover
    half the world
    then there are times
    I'm two inches tall
    I wake that way
    there's nothing
    that can change it
    it has to do
    with dreams
    and sleep
    how I spent the night
    heights of no return
    or low and lonely
    to the point
    of non-existance
    when I feel massive
    I'm ten feet tall
    and weight 500 pounds
    of pure muscle!
    can you perceive
    my largeness?
    do you understand?
    I become invincible
    I'm bigger than
    the world
    but, maybe tomorrow
    I'll wake real small
    my strengh is not
    like an ant
    crumbs are cake for me
    and movement
    is so slow
    I barely get around
    carpent fibers
    tangle me
    trip me
    take me in
    but I remember
    walking on rooftops
    so, I do not despair
    I only wait
    and wonder
    what I'll feel
    ...tomorrow...

    2. I like the carpet fibers tangle me.... those imaginary things we trip on out of no where. Lol. This is a lovely flowing big to small poem.

  2. My tasks for today overwhelming
Asking for help is not my method
Sometimes I want to quit. Instead I
Send emails, work from home, carry on.
    I'm tired of responsibilities.
Very tired. I just want to sleep for days
    Eventually wake a new life.

  3. Wishing you well with that. Life can get tedious indeed. Will we go back to once a week here? rotating subjects? That was fun.

  4. Massively Fortunate

    Massive stress
    is generated
    for me when
    there must be
    a daily deadline
    by which a poem
    must emerge
    from my pen.
    Fortunately, it's
    only for a month

  5. I combined acrostic method of the word massive repeating Tad’s 3456 5 lines until it repeats but it would truly be a massive poem if I continued it until the word AND the pattern ended in the same stanza. The theme is Marie Kondo’s Spark Joy cleaning method. Sorry posting a day late.
This one is 63456 but MASSIVE
I showed the numbers because I might tey and continue the monstrosity!
