Day 28

For today’s prompt, take the phrase “Important (blank),” replace the blank with a word or phrase, make the new phrase the title of your poem, and then, write the poem. Possible titles could include: “Important Documents,” “Important: Read Before Assembling,” “Important People,” and so on. I hope everyone finds something important to write about today.

  1. Not sure about anything but trying:

trivial outcomes * noticeable chaos * important resolutions
riotous beginnings * interesting research * calm procedures
mournful happenstance * breathable equilibrium * celebratory fireworks
calamitous collapse * undetermined consequences * fortunate coordination
ambitious undertaking * opportunistic flaw * low energy
virtuous approach * flexible consideration * spiteful divergence
    Love * Indifference * hate

    1. LOL. I didn't read this till after day 29 prompt was out but this could work for that also. A haphazard poem.

  5. IMPORTANT

I have to do my homework.
    Mom tells me it’s important.
I want to be sure what that
    means. I search for important

    on dictionary.com.
    The definition says of
    much or great significance
    or consequence
    . I search for

    significance. importance,
    consequence
    . So I look up
    consequence. Finally, some
    words I know. effect, result,

    or the outcome of something
    occurring earlier
    . It
    also says significance,
    importance
    . I could keep on

    going in circles but then
    wonder what is the effect
    of not doing my homework.
What will be the outcome if I

    search dictionary.com
    instead of doing my homework.
    Then I remember something
    occurring earlier
    . Mom

said I had to do homework.
    I guess I’d better because
    I know the effect, result
    or the outcome
    if I don’t.
