Loquacious
ReplyDeleteOh how he can babble on
does he ever stop to breathe?
the gentleman is quite verbose
goes on and on until you seethe!
Talkative is and understatement
for this man who says words are not his forte
yet he seems to talk nonstop at times
he has so much to say!
He can ask a question but
then never let you answer
he never misses a beat
like a practiced dancer
So I listen with great patience
but I must sincerely admit
I don't hear half of what he says
because I mostly don't give a shit!
LMAO. It literally made me LOL. I was not expecting that last line. Wonderful poem!
DeleteNice poem, well said and greatly illustrative of the word, too!
Deletehahahahahahahahahaha great stuff there!!! I must admit that I can relate...
Deletehmmmmm think i know this guy bonita. he's not from newcastle is he? ha ha - love and chatter - paul.
DeleteMine is getting too long to post every day. I will post the whole thing on the last day and just do my current ones for the next few days. I think this one stands alone. And I couldn't just use one intriguing word since I had a whole 17 syllables.
ReplyDeleteSurreptitious sighs,
mellifluous platitudes.
Just Barmecide.
good one! I had to look up Barmecide... love it!
DeleteOh My, I must look it up also. Mine comes from Anu Garg's word site. Ever see it?
DeleteLooked it up and am in admiration of how nicely it all fits together.
DeleteI like it!! Terrific senryu!!!
Deletemelodious magic vic.
DeleteAndrocracy
ReplyDeleteMen rule us because
We allow them to do so.
Women should wake up.
the times they are a changin'
DeleteWomen are moving up in the world. Androcracy is a good word.
Deleteknew a woman that used to throw up, every time she woke up....or have i missed the point ha ha - stay cool tash - love - paul.

ReplyDeleteKEF
ReplyDeletekef is a feeling
of euphoria and well-being
one can attain it
by smoking some cannabis
or some wild lettuce
will do the trick
kef is a wonderful feeling
of tranquility
people take their kef,
quietly...
smoking cannabis...shocking behaviour. unless you pipe it in the library toilets of course ha ha - smoked and full of belgian lager - paul.
DeleteAh, wild lettuce? Didn't know you could smoke it. What's it's latin name? Love the poem.
Deletelactuca virosa
Deleteaaaahhh! i want that feeling!
ReplyDeletea day late again....bloody trains!
ReplyDeleteSVELTE
she didn't walk
she slinked
like veronica lake
or, lauren baccall
she could exite a brick wall
for goodness sake
bouncing along in her heels, with our arms linked
pity all of it was fake
she was pure evil, but......god, she smelled nice
if she came back...i know it's pathetic, but she wouldn't have to ask me twice.
Ah yes, her again. Well one day she will fade I hope and you will be free if you wish to be that is...
Deletesorry tash. yes. her again. my bane down memory lane.
Deletenice job!!!
